THE PURPOSE

During their time working at Camp Michigania, Will and Everett were introduced two groups that bring children and their families to Michigania.

These groups, Kids Kicking Cancer and the Mott's Children's Hospital Families work with children who have dealt with, and continue to deal with longterm, life threatening illnesses. These organizations bring these young children, and their families, to Camp Michigania to allow them something in life they have not been allowed to participate in on a regular basis--- being a kid.

These children have not been dealt a kind hand in life, but have refused to let it get the best of them. To have even a moments worth of exposure to these amazing kids is life changing. Will and Everett have been fortunate enough to work with these kids and their families for several years while on staff at Camp Michigania and were astounded, and in awe, at the amazing things these children have overcome, and how precious it was, for both the families and the Camp Michigania staff, to be part of this opportunity at Camp Michigania.

Will and Everett are going to canoe the Mississippi River to raise money for Camp Michigania to directly support these two programs.

The funds will be used to perpetuate these life changing programs, allowing all involved to experience the magic of Michigania, and give the kids a chance to be kids.

If you wish to participate in helping these kids and their families come to Camp Michigania you can do so right here.
